During two national lockdown periods we worked closely with our clients providing a range of digital solutions to support businesses through challenging times in 2020.
Online Check-in Solution
We assisted Palmers Brewery with their online Wine Store to streamline the click & collect process enabling the business to thrive with its delivery service. After Palmers pubs reopened following spring lockdown the team at Key Digital provided a check-in solution with a super-fast 1 day turnaround. This made it easier for customers to enter their details and help with the test and trace programme.
Social Media Training
We also assisted Dorchester BID during the first lockdown with free-of-charge social media webinars over zoom. Four lockdown support sessions were offered to all businesses in the BID’s town centre catchment area to provide Facebook and Instagram training. Tips ranged from advice to beginners to advanced Facebook for Business. All with a view to using digital to unlock the online potential of Dorchester’s town centre traders, while they were unable to open their physical doors.
Click & Collect Website Functionality
We assisted New Image Tiles during lockdown by enhancing their click and collect website functionality – enabling the Weymouth-based business to continue trading. As well as guidance in the setup of a virtual appointment system.
Bespoke App Solution
Over the last 12 months, Key Digital has been building a bespoke app solution for holiday parks called Holidaymaker. The project shows incredible digital innovation for the hospitality sector as it will enable many contactless features at a critical time for businesses to survive through uncertain times.
The app went live for Beverley Holidays in Devon to coincide with the reopening in July and has interest from several other parks.
Based in Poundbury since 2007, Key Digital has grown to become the largest digital agency in West Dorset. We have continued support to local businesses in the area through bespoke website developments and social media assistance during lockdown. These also include West Dorset Leisure Holidays, Collins Nets, Dave Cumber Vets, Darglow Engineering and Cumulus Outdoors as well as a host of national brands predominately in the holiday park sector.
