West Dorset Leisure Holidays (WDLH) is a family run group of five holiday parks on the beautiful Dorset coast, who have been providing holidays for nearly 50 years.
Alongside their caravan rental fleet and touring camping fields they offer luxury lodges and holiday caravans for sale – so customers can own their own “little bit of Dorset”.
Choose from a caravan at their popular family park, Highlands End or a luxury lodge just five minutes walk from the beach at Burton Bradstock.
Our Challenge
When it comes to sourcing a dream holiday home, lots of people start their search online. Their regular use the larger property websites means their expectations are high and any new website needed to be straightforward and easy to use as they are.
So when WDLH approached us requiring a new website to cater solely for holiday home sales in Dorset we were confident that we had the expertise to deliver.
The challenge was to create a bespoke holiday home for sale website that catered for everything that someone in the holiday home buying space would ever need. The site needed to encourage sale enquires and also work in conjunction with their main, WDLH holiday website.

Our approach
Our main goal was to create a comprehensive property search website that was easy to use but also drove quality sale enquiries.
The bespoke build included functionality such as:-
- Filterable search and section
- Google Maps API
- Private owner login area
- Homepage video
- Optimised and image rich, for both desktop and mobile
In order to give WDLH’s new site the upper edge we also added in:-
- 360-degree virtual tours
- Distance and time calculation tool
- Suggestions on similar homes to the one being viewed
Our results

A brand new website “Holiday Homes In Dorset”, that comes packed with all the bells and whistles! The new site offers a clean design, rich imagery and extensive search features.
After the website went live, WDLH started seeing a return on investment. With their new dedicated site, enquiries and sales started coming in thick and fast.
