Skelwith Fold selects us for digital marketing strategy

We begin strategic digital marketing work with Skelwith Fold and Moss Wood Caravan Parks.

Skelwith Fold is a holiday park based in Ambleside in the Lake District offering a mix of holiday home ownership, touring and camping. The 150-acre site has been a family-run business for 26 years.

Last year we were approached by Skelwith Fold and Moss Wood to complete a detailed website audit to highlight areas of opportunity for their business. Now we’re delighted to announce our continued relationship with the award-winning Lake District holiday park as they’ve engaged with us as their ongoing digital marketing partner and website technical support.

Following a digital planning day carried out at Moss Wood, our work will now see us optimising their website content, working with them to improve organic search engine rankings, supporting their email marketing and developing digital advertising campaigns across social media and PPC advertising. We have also supported them with moving the two websites to an alternative hosting provider.

We’ll also be working closely with Skelwith Fold’s sister-site – Moss Wood Caravan Park. The Lancashire-based holiday park is 30 acres in size and situated 12 miles North East of Blackpool.

The main objectives will include a detailed strategy and digital roadmap to increase the online credibility and authority of both businesses.

Holiday park owner Henry Wild commented “I have been aware of Key Digital’s strong connections with the holiday park industry for many years. With the web review work carried out last year, David and the team proved to us that they have expert knowledge in the holiday park industry. When the time came for us to work with a new agency there was only one choice for us. They’ve made an immediate impact on improving the quality of our online content and provided expert guidance regarding our brand messaging during the Covid-19 lockdown.”

Our Managing Director David Lakins said “We’re delighted to continue our working relationship with Henry, Neil and the rest of their team at their two parks in the North West. Having visited the parks, we can see why they have such a great reputation with their guests who keep coming back year after year. There’s a big opportunity for them to translate this into improved online authority, and with the raft of projects we have planned, we’re relishing the chance to support them in turning this into reality.”
