Unlock June 2019

We’d like to invite you to our latest Key Digital Unlock digital knowledge event on Thursday June 27th at our office in Poundbury for some insightful discussions and networking.

Digital Creativity – Unlock Event

The use of digital technologies presents us all with huge creative opportunities. So why do so many phones, apps and many websites look exactly the same?

This time we are going to uncover how digital tech can enable enormous creativity and moments for customers that really stick in the memory.

Via a panel discussion and Q&A, we’ll explore how tech can help with idea creation and how executing ideas can be enhanced by involving creative professionals. We’ll also be looking at our panel’s favourite examples of creativity in tech, design, business start-ups, brand and marketing.

Our panel will be…

Lara Jane Thorpe

Lara specialises in photography, styling and content creation for restaurants, food brands and independent retailers with projects ranging from glossy magazine spreads through to quirky social media campaigns.

Her strength is taking beautiful photographs that help businesses stand out from the crowd, capturing each and every clients’ unique personality and bringing their stories to life.

A former retail buyer and brand developer, now a food and lifestyle photographer, she spends her days creating professional images for creative businesses.

Rob Aldous

Rob is the founder of KitBrix, an innovative and modular way of organising and transporting your sports kit.

Following a disastrous start to a Quadrathlon he was taking part in (where he forgot half of his kit), Rob decided to find a solution to ensuring this didn’t happen again. Kitbrix was born!

He started learning about the basic of the manufacturing process in China, and how the retail industry works. In just 12 months he had taken a product from concept to store.

Kitbrix now has distribution agreements in US, Canada, South America and Asia.

Danny Duke

Danny Duke is a highly experienced digital artist having worked within both the video game and VFX industries and worked on projects including Star Wars, Harry Potter, James Bond 007 and Dead Space.

Previously MD of Outpost VFX (a leading VFX house), Danny is currently a partner in Tiny Giants, a global visual effects and production company. He is a passionate believer in the creative ability of each individual and how harnessing that ability can make a real difference in all aspects of life.
