Our latest mobile app deployment for Skelwith Fold showcases how Holidaymaker can be used to as a loyalty/membership tool to enhance the guest experience.
About Skelwith Fold
Skelwith Fold is a prestigious holiday park based in Ambleside in the Lake District. The park offers a combination of holiday home ownership, touring, camping, glamping and holiday cottages. The 150-acre site has been a family-run business for 27 years.
Having become Skelwith Fold’s digital marketing partner in March 2020, we have since assisted the caravan park with their digital strategy and technical website support. During that time, the discussion came up to develop a holiday park app companion for a stay at Skelwith Fold. We are pleased to announce the app is now available to download in both the App Store and Google Play.
New Holidaymaker features
As well as a comprehensive set of Holidaymaker mobile app features, the platform also incorporates several new areas of development. These include:
- An ‘Advantage App’ positioning to provide membership benefits for loyal returning guests and holiday home owners.
- A range of interactive walking guides in the area which help Skelwith Fold’s guests make the most from a stay in the Lakes.
- Video guides have been used to answer any questions guests may have before and during their stay.
