Key Digital clients win gold at the Dorset Tourism Awards!

The Dorset Tourism Awards ceremony which took place at The Tank Museum in Bovington on 17th October celebrated businesses in the tourism industry from across the county. An impressive 78 trophies were presented in total during the evening. We’re delighted to see three of our clients in the limelight as gold award winners.

We’d like to congratulate West Dorset Leisure Holidays, South Lychett Manor Caravan & Camping Park and Cumulus Outdoors for scooping first place in their individual categories. All three are richly deserving of the recognition – it has been a pleasure for us to have helped them maximise their online potential.

South Lychett Manor have now won this prestigious gold award two years in a row at the Dorset Tourism Awards for Camping and Caravanning Park of the Year. A phenomenal achievement and testament to the hardworking staff and exceptionally high standards which make the park a truly special place to be.

The 5-star campsite situated near Poole is no stranger to winning awards having come top of Practical Caravan‘s 100 best sites in Britain for both 2017 and 2018.

Cumulus Outdoors

ACTIVE AND SPORTING EXPERIENCE OF THE YEAR sponsored by Dorset Tourism Association

Cumulus Outdoors provide fun-filled residential adventure trips on the Jurassic Coast for schools and youth groups in a Tented Village or Residential Centre option. The Active and Sporting Experience award was said to recognise providers of truly memorable and immersive active and sporting activities for visitors to participate in. Congratulations to Cumulus Outdoor for coming out on top above some strong competition.

We’d also like to give a mention to The Palmers Brewery owned Three Horseshoes Pub – winner of the Gold Award for PUB OF THE YEAR sponsored by Porter Dodson. The Burton Bradstock pub is one of over 50 pubs owned by Palmers in the South West. We’re particularly pleased to see the continued success of Palmers having worked closely with the Bridport-based Brewery on their new website and online presence.

Congratulations to all of the other Dorset businesses at the awards, helping to put Dorset firmly on the map as one of the best holiday destinations in the UK. All winners from the evening go through to the South West Tourism Excellence Awards which take place in February 2020.
